"The Palette of the Native Land"

11.01.2014 - 10.02.2014

On January, 11, 2013 in the gallery "Elizabethgrad" was opened a personal exhibition of paintings by/of Anatoliy Shapovalov "The Palette of the Native Land". On this day, Anatoly Gavrilovich Shapovalov celebrated his 65th anniversary. The exhibition gathered together family, friends, artists, collectors and connoisseurs of Anatoliy Gavrilovich`s works. The Painting of Anatoliy Shapovalov is bright, multi-faceted, deep and recognizable. His works are bought by collectors and museums in Ukraine and abroad.
The artist constantly works at himself and improves. At the exhibition, you can mainly see the paintings of recent years, 2012 and 2013. Still lives, landscapes divulge a dear to the heart palette of the native land – the banks of the river Adzhamka, the yards in which more than one generation had grown, the sunflowers at the edge of the village. It is interesting to see a series of portraits "My Contemporary" – they are beautifully written, psyhologic, strong and emotional.
The works can be sold. The exhibition will run until February, 10, 2014. Thanks for the music to saxophonist Paul Belenikin, Lecturer of the Faculty of Arts of Kirovograd State Pedagogical University named after Vinnichenko.
