Polyakova Lyudmila

Lyudmila Valentinovna Polyakova was born on April 21, 1946, in Semipalatinsk (Russia). The painter graduated from Ilya Repin Leningrad Institute of Fine Arts, Sculpture and Architecture (nowadays it is Ilya Repin St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Fine Arts, Sculpture and Architecture). Her teacher was O. Milnikov. In 1976 she became a member of National Artists’ Union of Ukraine. In 2000 she was given a rank of Honored Artist of the Crimea Autonomous Republic. She exhibits her works in Simferopol, Kyiv, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Heidelberg (Germany). Her works are stored in private collections of Great Britain, Spain, Japan and the USA.
